My instructor says there is a textbook on reserve in the library. What does reserve mean? Where are reserve books located?

Reserve books are located behind the circulation desk.  Reserve books are books that are used for specific classes taught at Mott College.  We have some of the textbooks that are in use but not necessarily all of them. 

You must ask at the desk to use a book that is on reserve and library staff will check it out to you.  Most of these books must remain in the library while you are using them.  Some may be checked out overnight or for 3 days but the majority of reserve books are library use only.

Ask library staff if you have any questions.
