Q. What does peer-reviewed mean?

Peer-reviewed means that the article has been evaluated by people with expert subject knowledge for accuracy. Many of the journal databases you use for research offer an option to limit your search to "peer-reviewed" articles.  "Scholarly" journals essentially mean the same as peer-reviewed.
